With almost a decade of mortgage industry experience, Jim Roberts is a consummate professional who has been involved in finance since the mid 1990s. His understanding of the mortgage industry is so extensive he decided to run his own company, True North Mortgage, in 2006. His honest approach and proven record of closing loans in a timely manner is attributed to his over 99% repeat and referred business rate. "We don't spend a lot of money marketing; we instead give our clients a better deal," he explains. Jim recognizes that his line of work requires him to be available for his clients and as such, will always return e-mails and phone calls promptly. If there is a program the clients really need but I don't have, then I will advise them to go elsewhere even if it means I don't get a loan from it." In his spare time, Jim enjoys attending sporting events with his family, reading, and pretty much anything that means spending time with his wife and four kids.
